About Type I Ultrapure Water System
Laboratory water purification delivering Type I ultrapure water at 18.2 MΩ·cm. Multi-stage treatment through pre-filtration, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, UV oxidation at 185nm and 254nm, and a 0.22µm terminal filter, with continuous inline resistivity and TOC monitoring displayed on the panel. This is a prerequisite for reproducible HPLC work: mobile-phase water quality is one of the most common sources of baseline drift and ghost peaks. Comparable US-market systems list $8,000 to $15,000. Replacement cartridges are quoted separately.
